Nurse Aide Instructor - Part Time

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: AAS in Nursing, Preferred: B.S.N.
• Nursing Experience: Minimum of two years (2000 hours), AND at least one of the following:
  • Completion of a course in teaching adults
  • Experience in teaching adults
  • Experience in supervising nurse aides

Physical Demands

• Able to use and demonstrate all Nurse Aide equipment

Licensing Requirement

• Unencumbered North Carolina RN License
• Valid NC Driver’s License

Working Conditions and Environment

• Courses are taught at both the SCC Jackson Campus & Macon Campus
• Faculty will be assigned to a campus based on logistical criteria

Equipment Operation

• Able to operate and demonstrate all equipment required to perform the duties of a nurse aide

• Perform other duties as assigned
