Nurse Administrator (RN) - Per Diem - Evening-Nights and Rotating Weekend Coverage
About the role
Gracie Square Hospital, a leader in behavioral healthcare for over six decades, is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Administrator (RN) to oversee clinical operations during evening/nights and rotating weekend coverage. This role ensures continuity of patient care across all units, collaborating with Patient Care Directors and staff to plan and implement high-quality, safe care. You will act as a clinical consultant, addressing issues and recommending solutions to achieve desired outcomes. The position requires flexible scheduling to cover off-shifts, weekends, vacations, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations on assigned shifts to ensure continuity of patient care for all units.
- Collaborate with Patient Care Directors and staff in planning and implementing high-quality, safe patient care.
- Act as a consultant to staff, addressing identified issues and recommending ways to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to excellence and professionalism in nursing practice.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing.
- 3 years of progressive leadership and management experience.
- Current New York State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Leadership experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay
Salary Range: $90.00/hour.
Schedule
Per diem position covering off-shifts (evening/nights), weekends, vacations, and holidays.
