About the role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, you will provide professional and compassionate care to patients in our Nuclear Medicine department. This role involves performing Nuclear Medicine examinations, applying prescribed ionizing radiation and radio nuclides for diagnosis and treatment of disease, and ensuring a supportive environment aligned with the hospital’s “care like family” mission.
Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine examinations and technical procedures.
- Prepare radioactive isotopes and operate radioscopic equipment.
- Post test results to patients' charts for physicians' review.
- Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly.
- Implement and complete service requests while maintaining a compassionate environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT-R Radiography or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification.
