Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Part-Time, Variable Shift

About the Role

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, performs screening procedures, and maintains procedure quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes using specialized equipment.
• Performs diagnostic screening procedures and documents all relevant information.
• Obtains patient information and communicates preparation instructions.
• Ensures compliance with safety and departmental protocols.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited school (required).
• State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB (required in CA and OR).
• Venipuncture certification (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
