Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Part-Time, Variable Shift

Role Overview

Responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation intravenously for disease detection and treatment, using radioisotope equipment. Performs diagnostic screening procedures, coordinates patient flow, and maintains procedure quality control.

Key Duties

• Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Perform screening procedures and document all relevant radioactive materials and surveys.
• Obtain patient information and provide preparation instructions.
• Elevate complex issues to senior staff when needed and perform additional related tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must hold a State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI.
• Registered with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Venipuncture certification mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
