Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead

About the role

The Nuclear Medicine Tech Lead performs advanced imaging procedures, manages hot lab functions, calibrates equipment, and ensures high-quality, accurate test results.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to patients
• Obtains optimal images
• Assists physicians with imaging
• Maintains departmental cleanliness
• Adheres to safety and regulatory standards
• Provides courteous patient care
• Responds to instructions and completes special assignments
• Supports department operations
• Performs additional duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current New Jersey license
• ARRT and/or NMTCB certifications
• BLS certification
• PET experience (preferred)
• Two years hospital technologist experience (preferred)

Work Environment

Day shift, full-time hours, with overtime availability.
