About the role
Nuclear Medicine Technologists are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. They work closely with physicians to ensure accurate patient care and provide detailed reports to aid in diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment
- Assisting patients through imaging procedures
- Documenting patient information and results accurately
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to interpret images and develop treatment plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in state
- Experience in nuclear medicine or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours vary based on department needs, typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage required.
