About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) images on patients while providing excellent care.
- Follow company-established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a radiologist to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
- Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps and addressing questions or concerns.
- Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical issues and take appropriate action.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information (PHI).
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
- Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Pay
$62.00–$85.00 per hour.
