About the Role
Operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality nuclear medicine imaging.
- Maintain radiation safety standards following ALARA principles.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Adapt imaging protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program with clinical experience.
- Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
- BLS certification.
- State licensure may be required.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of biohazard safety and NRC regulations.
- Proficiency in radiation safety practices.
- Strong decision-making and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
