About the Role

Operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Maintain radiation safety standards following ALARA principles.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Adapt imaging protocols as needed.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program with clinical experience.
  • Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • BLS certification.
  • State licensure may be required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of biohazard safety and NRC regulations.
  • Proficiency in radiation safety practices.
  • Strong decision-making and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
