About the Role

The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves ensuring radiation safety, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and effectively communicating with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
  • Ensure radiation safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain high-quality imaging standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program with completed clinical hours.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Current licensure and certifications (e.g., NMTCB or ARRT (N)).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of biohazard safety and NRC regulations.
  • Adherence to radiation safety following ALARA standards.
  • Strong decision-making and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Perform various physical movements (e.g., bending, stooping, reaching).
