Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health‑care services, applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality diagnostic radiographs and rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma cases.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program; Preferred – Associate degree.
- Experience: Preferred 1–3 years.
- Certifications: ARRT or registry eligible (must obtain ARRT within one year post‑graduation); BLS; state license if required.
