NPI Manager, Energy

The NPI Manager at Gigafactory New York (GFNY) will lead the NPI team's activities, focusing on launching products, managing form/fit/function changes, and improving change management processes. This role involves mentoring and growing the team, ensuring adherence to NPI processes, and communicating project statuses.

What You'll Do

• Drive all production launch and sustaining change activities, aiming to meet or exceed project/program timing milestones.
• Lead the GFNY NPI team and develop bespoke development plans for each team member to support their growth, including setting performance expectations.
• Ensure NPI processes and guidelines are consistently followed and regularly reviewed for improvement based on business needs.
• Communicate program roadmaps, project/program status, risks, and support needs to all organizational levels to ensure clear understanding.
• Own headcount and resource planning for ongoing projects and planned expansions.
• Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, and Executive Leadership to drive results.

What You'll Bring

• A degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously.
• Evidence of exceptional executive-level communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A thorough understanding of product validation processes, production operations, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), material movement, etc.
• A clear understanding of the manufacturing validation process, its methodology, validation plans, and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and proficiency in various problem-solving methodologies.

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position ranges from $169,200 to $253,800 annually, with details of participation in benefits provided upon acceptance of an offer. The total compensation package may also include additional elements based on individualized factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
