About the Role

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a full-time Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join an expanding, multidisciplinary cancer care team. This role offers opportunities for collaboration with physicians and other APPs, access to clinical trials, and involvement in program development within a leading healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other advanced practice providers, to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging therapies and clinical trial opportunities.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers.
  • Engage in program collaboration, mentorship, and research opportunities through Michigan Medicine and University of Michigan Health systems.

Qualifications

  • High-caliber, quality-focused, and innovative providers with experience in surgical oncology or related fields.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse patient populations is preferred.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Nepali, or Bosnian is a plus.
