About the role
The APP or NP/PA provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills.
- Works independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Cares for patients in the outpatient walk-in setting, including newborns through age 18.
- Establishes and enhances positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
- Provides care in an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
- Experience in Family Medicine, Walk-in, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
- Pediatric trained and certified through PNCB or ANCC (PPCNP-BC) is preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in appropriate state; current certification in CPR; national certification in applicable area; successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.

- Current certification in CPR.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR.

Skills

$57.42 - $80.39 / hour FTE: 0.75
