About the role
The NP/PA will collaborate with a great group of fellow advanced practice clinicians, physicians and support staff. The Candidate will be required to rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage (ND & MN licensure and DEA required.)
Responsibilities
- Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
- Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
- Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
- Establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
- Ability to care for all ages within scope is required.
- Experience in Family Medicine, Walk-in, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred!
- ND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND & MN
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in ND & MN
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification, in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
