NP Baltimore - Therapeutic Behavioral Aide

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or higher (experience in special education preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade
• Engage in family outreach and school-based activities
• Participate in professional development and training
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Document student progress and behavioral observations
