Job Responsibilities
- Assist behavioral health staff in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Observe and report patient behavior, mood changes, and unusual activity to clinical staff
- Assist with patient movement and coordination within the facility as directed
- Support behavioral health programming and daily unit activities
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation as assigned
- Monitor unit activity and report safety or security concerns immediately
- Affirm compliance with facility rules, safety procedures, and organizational policies
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and facility information
- Provide professional and respectful interaction with patients, staff, and visitors
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Adheres to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
- Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities
- Completes required orientation as directed by the facility
- Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
- Follows facility and CFG Health Systems Occurrence Protocol
- Upholds HIPAA and PREA regulations
- Punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts
- Maintains security clearance for the assigned facility
Physical Demands
- May regularly be required to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, or stretch, for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to communicate and understand written and verbal communication.
