Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, and other essential hygiene tasks to ensure our clients feel comfortable and cared for.
• Promote mobility by encouraging clients to adhere to their prescribed exercise programs, including range of motion exercises and walking.
• Carefully assist in transferring clients from bed to chair, turning and repositioning them as per their care plans, and addressing pressure point care.
• Prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs, remind clients about their medications, and provide continence care.
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities, including tasks such as laundry, trash removal, and grocery shopping for those who can drive.

Requirements

• A valid HHA or CNA certification is mandatory, ensuring you possess the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver top-quality care.
• If not certified, free training and certification programs are available to help you get started & expand the skills.
• Strong communication skills are crucial, as you'll be interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regularly.
