Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager oversees the Human Resources department, supporting organizational goals through recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, training, compliance, and employee engagement.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition - Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, develop recruitment strategies, partner with department leaders on staffing needs, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Employee Relations - Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, conduct investigations, provide coaching, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management - Oversee performance evaluations, assist with performance improvement plans, and support leadership development initiatives.
HR Compliance - Ensure compliance with employment laws, manage employee records, and promote a compliant workplace.
Training & Development - Coordinate new hire orientation, develop training programs, and support manager coaching and professional development.
Compensation & Benefits - Assist with compensation planning, oversee benefits administration, and support HRIS administration.
HR Operations - Supervise HR staff, prepare reports, and develop HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Policy Administration - Interpret and enforce company policies, recommend updates, and ensure consistent application across departments.
Strategic Leadership - Partner with executive leadership, participate in organizational planning, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
Healthcare Experience: Preferred.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices, experience with workplace investigations, management, and compliance.
Professional Certification: Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
Physical Demands
Individual will be required to sit for long periods, use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, lift/push up to 20 lbs., travel to clinic locations/sites, and perform other essential functions.
