FirstLight Home Care is hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a client in Portsmouth, RI.

About the role

One-on-one care with 12-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) available weekdays and weekends. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are open.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and ensure client safety

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island CNA License (Required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Required)
• Caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
