New Role

As the North Regional Market Leader, you will drive growth, major pursuits, and industry visibility for transportation-related Buildings & Facilities across the Northeast Region.

What You’ll Be Driving

  • Regional Market Growth & Major Pursuits
  • Leverage a multi-state group of regional offices to shape strategy, lead marquee pursuits, and elevate STV’s presence with transit, rail, and intermodal agencies.
  • Own and execute STV’s north transportation buildings market strategy, with accountability for pipeline development, pursuit performance, sales, and backlog.
  • Personally lead and shape major pursuits for complex transportation facilities, including transit and rail stations; rail yards and maintenance & operations facilities; control centers, administrative buildings, and intermodal hubs.
  • Serve as STV’s primary face for northeast transportation buildings with agency executives, program leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Identify and influence opportunities years ahead of RFP release, shaping scope, delivery strategy, and teaming.
  • Build and lead high-performing pursuit teams across architecture, engineering, and specialty partners.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity planning and forecasting within STV’s CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint).
  • Market Leadership & Industry Visibility
  • Expand STV’s regional presence in transportation-related architecture and buildings engineering design.
  • Maintain active involvement in industry associations and forums such as APTA, AREMA, WTS, AIA, ENR, and TRB.
  • Speak, present, or serve on panels and committees to advance thought leadership and market visibility.
  • Translate your existing industry presence into a broader firm-wide platform, amplifying both STV’s brand and your professional impact.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Project Executives, and technical leaders, helping build a strong talent bench.
  • Influence strategic recruiting aligned with long-range transportation buildings market needs.
  • Project Delivery & Client Stewardship
  • Serve as Project Executive, Principal-in-Charge, PM, or Technical Advisor on select transportation buildings projects.
  • Ensure delivery teams understand client priorities, market commitments, and agency expectations.
  • Translate lessons learned and best practices across regions to improve consistency and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (or a related field).
  • 15+ years of experience in the planning, design or delivery of transit & transportation-related buildings.
  • Multi-state AEC leadership experience in transportation-related buildings (transit, rail, aviation, or intermodal facilities).
  • Repeated ownership of major pursuits for stations, yards, or transportation facilities.
  • Established relationships with public transportation, rail, transit authorities which will include NYC MTA.
  • Credibility as a seller-doer, combining market leadership with delivery experience.
  • Ideal Background as a Client Account Manager, Market Leader, Principal, Practice Leader, Project Executive, or Senior Technical Leader within an architecture, engineering, or PM/CM environment.
  • A desire to define, shape, grow and lead a regional market sector, with potential to expand nationally.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Professional licensure (e.g., Registered Architect, Professional Engineer) or equivalent professional credential.
  • Leadership or active participation in APTA, AREMA, WTS, AIA, ENR, or TRB.
  • Conference speaking, panel participation, or published thought leadership.
  • Experience strengthening firm-wide market visibility or reputation.
  • Experience influencing talent recruiting and mentoring across regions.
  • Experience integrating architecture, MEP and engineering design disciplines within complex facilities programs.
  • Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes, long-range capital programs, and federally or state-funded infrastructure projects.

Pay

$259,347.58 - $288,163.97
