North Texas Project Delivery Leader
About the role
The North Texas Water Project Delivery Leader (PDL) is a leadership position within HDR, a company dedicated to making great things possible through collaboration and innovation. The PDL will report to the North Texas Water Business Group Manager and will oversee and manage strategic projects across HDR offices in North Texas. Key responsibilities include providing project reviews, managing project staffing, coordinating technical staff assignments, and supporting cross-business group efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop project management skills for staff across all North Texas offices
- Provide project management team organization and leadership for projects across Area offices
- Perform project reviews focusing on delivery oversight, financials, schedule, quality, and project staffing
- Collaborate with Market Sector Leaders on technical staff assignments for projects across Area offices and workshare management with HDR offices
- Support area project management processes focusing on removing barriers to execution to support the successful and effective delivery of HDR projects
- Serve as a champion for cross-Business Group efforts
- Project Delivery
- Assist with contract review on key projects to help ensure risk management, proper staffing, quality reviews, and resolution of claims
- Ensure the best technology and solutions are integrated into project delivery
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- MS in relevant Engineering fields (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental)
- 15 years’ experience in wastewater, drinking water, or water resources management consulting
- Maintains engineering registration and has extensive related technical expertise
- TX or OK PE or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months
- Experienced in management and development of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with operations managers, technical staff, and marketing managers on professional services-related efforts
- Committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Good leadership and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires a standard workweek.
