The North Texas Building Engineering Service Project Delivery Leader (PDL) position at HDR offers a unique opportunity to drive project management processes, quality, and oversight across the Business Group (BG).

Responsibilities

  • Promote, monitor, and develop project management skills and quality best practices for BES staff across the Area
  • Provide project management team organization and leadership for projects across the BG
  • Collaborate effectively with BG operations, market leadership/sectors, business classes, and Professional Services Leaders
  • Perform delegated matrix of authority (MOA) responsibilities from BGM
  • Streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with the overall Area, corporate policy, and MOA
  • Aid with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials, and driving profitability at the project level
  • Develop and implement standard project delivery practices, procedures, and approaches
  • Support project teams with management of claims and losses
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with project teams to verify that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience developing, managing, and leading multi-discipline project delivery teams
  • Proven history of delivering high quality, profitable and successful facility projects
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with systems and PM tools for effective project management and delivery
  • Extensive industry experience in delivering facility projects across market sectors
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and leading diverse teams
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
  • The ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10 years related experience
