GENERAL DUTIES

  • Analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Build and maintain budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare position level salary (PS) budget and forecasts.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations across multiple reporting areas.
  • Track and maintain financial data to perform revenue and expense projections.
  • Aids with year-end audits, including preparation of trial balances, financial statements, notes, and MDA.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Performs investment account reconciliations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid budget and forecasting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Advanced degree or CPA.
  • PeopleSoft experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Preferred qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience, Solid budget and forecasting experience, Advanced Excel skills, Excellent writing skills, Strong analytical ability, Advanced degree or CPA, PeopleSoft experience.

Skills

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Experience in building and maintaining budgets and forecasts.
  • Proficiency in Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.

Pay

$63.55/hr- $71.25/hr (Hourly rate will increase to $65.78/hr - $73.75/hr as of 9/1/26 per the PSC contract).

Schedule

In-person position for two (2) days a week up to 100 hours in July and August 2026, up to 225 hours for fall 2026, up to 225 hours for the spring 2027, and up to 75 hours for June 2027.
