Adjunct - Finance

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in discipline.
• Work with other faculty members to develop a course syllabus and consistent assessments.
• Communicate with department staff, students, and faculty on a regular basis.
• Perform other related work duties as assigned.

• Effectively instruct and communicate material for the course.
• Absorb and enforce safety rules when in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• Possess a baccalaureate or graduate degree in the area or related area of study or occupational area in which the instructor teaches classes, or possess a baccalaureate degree in any area of study if at least 18 credit hours completed were in the field of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes.
• Possess an associate degree in the CTE field of instruction in which the instructor is teaching, if such degree is considered terminal for that field of instruction, and have at least 3,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in the area taught.
• Have special training and at least 6,000 hours of relevant tested work experience in the occupational area (or related area) in which the instructor teaches classes.
