Non-Profit Senior Accountant

About the role

Nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, audit support, and grant-related accounting. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of GAAP and experience working within a nonprofit environment that manages multiple revenue streams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting
• Manage month-end close
• Perform reconciliations
• Provide audit support
• Handle grant-related accounting

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus
• Nonprofit accounting experience required
• Experience with grants, restricted funding, and multiple revenue sources is a plus
• Experience with US Government grant accounting is a strong plus
• Strong financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support experience
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach

Skills

• Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
• Experience with Sage Intact is a plus

Pay

Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000
