Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries (JEs)
• Manage month-end close activities and timelines
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate general ledger records
• Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation
• Support compliance with non-profit accounting standards and best practices

Requirements

• Prior non-profit accounting experience
• Strong experience preparing journal entries and managing month-end close
• Proven ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
