Senior Accountant- Non Profit

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle accounts payable processing and serve as backup for the accounting specialist.
• Prepare accounts receivable activity related to county, federal, and state funding and reporting.
• Aid with bi-weekly payroll processing and maintain payroll system accuracy.
• Monitor inventory schedules, analyze weekly cash intake, and perform reconciliations of monthly units.
• Support month-end close processes, including journal entries, corrections, and deposit transmissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with nonprofit experience required
• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
