Core Responsibilities
- Trip Coordination: Process incoming transportation requests from patients, nursing homes, and medical brokers.
- Route Optimization: Assign vehicles and map efficient routes to ensure on-time pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Dispatch & Fleet Management: Communicate in real-time with drivers to monitor progress, handle delays, and reassign trips as needed.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1+ years in healthcare logistics, dispatch, or high-volume transportation scheduling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS navigation applications, and Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills: Ability to multitask under pressure, strong geographical knowledge of the local area, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business preferred).
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Familiarity with ADA requirements and Medicaid broker portals preferred.
