About the Role
We are seeking a Clinic Coordinator to provide expertise and champion patient care within CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. This role supports both front office and clinical staff while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work alternate shifts and float to other locations as required.
- Assist front office and clinical staff in developing and implementing short and long-term work plans and objectives.
- Oversee the process to prepare patients for examination and treatment.
- Screen telephone calls for referral to physicians.
- Assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
- Ensure office and clinical supply inventory is current, mail is processed, and offices are opened/closed according to procedures.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system.
- Assist with point-of-service collections when applicable.
- Ensure courteous treatment of patients and proper screening/direction of visitors.
- Coordinate efforts with all staff to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain patient files, records, and other information.
Requirements
- One year of medical office experience is required.
- Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants and coursework in healthcare office management are preferred.
- RMA, CMA, or LPN certification is beneficial.
- CPR certification is required.
