About the role
Responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on various materials and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections using various NDT techniques such as radiography, ultrasonics, and magnetic particle testing.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues related to testing procedures and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and maintain accurate records of all inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in NDT or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of NDT methods and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passing score on a NDT certification exam.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
