Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares for certification exams and successfully passes MIL-STD-2132 UT Examiner and ASNT UT Level III tests.
- Administers the training, examination, and certification programs NDT Level I and Level II inspectors, and Level III at facilities in Oregon and Alabama.
- Provides technical support and performance monitoring for the day-to-day operations of NDT personnel inspecting mill shapes and final components.
- Develops, qualifies, and approves test method procedures and techniques for NDT.
- Ensures compliance of testing activities with Customer, Industry, and Government specifications and standards.
- Documents NDT processes with the expectation of performing continuous improvement of those processes and associated testing systems.
- Performs internal and external auditing requirements.
- Supports calibration and maintenance of NDT instrumentation.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree required.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a UT Level II and/or meet ASNT’s minimum requirements for Level III test qualification.
- Ability to obtain a MIL-STD-2132 UT Examiner Certification.
Preferred Certifications And Licensing
- Experience and certification in Penetrant (PT) and Radiography (RT).

Qualifications
Ability to travel domestically occasionally.
Pay
$92,000 to $120,000/annually + variable additional compensation opportunities.
