About the Role

Shuttle Driver position available. No CDL required. Full or part-time opportunities with access to all perks of being a Steamboat Ski and Resort employee.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 14-passenger bus between the Meadows parking lot and the Gondola Square transportation center in a safe manner
• Daily Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections
• Provide excellent guest services (e.g., resort information, directions)
• Traffic control of vehicles entering and leaving parking lots, ensuring safe, steady flow, and pedestrian safety
• Manage parking lots efficiently by parking cars in straight, tight rows
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years of previous work history/education required
• Must read, write, and speak clearly in English
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards
• Must enjoy people, driving, and be outgoing and personable
• Must present a professional, well-groomed appearance
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Company's Service Excellence standards
• Post-offer confirmation required of driving history (past 3 years, must be free of moving violations)
• Must have a valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards (Motor Vehicle Record check required)

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age

Pay

Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour.

• Sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate office productivity machinery

Working Conditions

• Exposure to harsh and varying outside weather conditions
• The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate
