Nocturnist - Hospitalist

About the role

We are seeking a Nocturnist - Hospitalist to provide high-quality inpatient care in a community hospital setting. Deliver comprehensive care for patients admitted to the General Medicine Service, supervising residents and responding to clinical changes and emergencies. Spend 100% of work time on clinical activities, including supervision and clinical projects. Provide Attending oversight, ensuring excellent patient management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in a hospital setting, primarily in the emergency department awaiting beds.
• Supervise and respond to clinical emergencies, overseeing trainees.
• Participate in clinical projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Medical license in the State of New York.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Prior hospitalist experience preferred.

Pay

Base salary ranging from $241,000 to $246,000, with potential additional earnings for extra hours. Estimated total annual compensation up to approximately $366,120, including bonuses, CME reimbursement, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
