NKY Sports Contributor
About the role
LINK Media is seeking Sports Contributors to cover high school sports news. This is a contract, part-time engagement position where contributors will manage assigned stories and pitch additional stories in their areas of interest. Contributions will be published digitally and in multimedia formats.
Responsibilities
- Manage and publish assigned stories and additional enterprise pieces
- Create digital and multimedia reports and creative stories
- Respond to news tips and accept assignments
- Maintain notes and audio recordings for review
- Collaborate with the managing editor and chief content officer
Requirements
- Experience or education as a sports reporter
- Strong writing and speaking skills
- Knowledge of multimedia production (websites, photo, audio, video editing)
Qualifications
- Ability to work quickly and adapt to a startup environment
- Willingness to remain flexible and maintain a collaborative attitude
- Understanding that contributions are part of a larger mission

Pay
