NJ Department Manager

About the role

This job posting is for a Department Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be the employer.

Responsibilities

• Take action first: Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Be results oriented: Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
• Lead the experience: Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
• Understand that teamwork is key: Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun, passionate about working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
