Night Youth Care Worker- Residential Treatment Center

What You Will Do

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
• Create a supportive atmosphere for the needs of the students.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

Requirements

• Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
• Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule

3.5 days per week:

• A shift - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday: Wednesday-Friday 5:30pm to 7:30am and Saturday/Sunday 5:30pm – 12:30am.
• B shift - Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: Saturday/Sunday 12:00am-7:30am and Sunday-Tuesday 5:30pm to 7:30am.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting at $19.00 an hour.
• Schedule may include 12 hours of overtime each pay period.
• $500.00 Sign On Bonus (at 6 months).
• $1000 Training Bonus (at 3 months).
