Night Warehouse Supervisor

Job Responsibilities Directly supervise warehouse activities, manage timelines of scheduled deliveries, and lead a team to execute all tasks and fulfil customer ordersCoach, guide and participate in training and evaluation of assigned staff; provide helpful feedback concerning the achievement of personal and team goalsEnsure assigned tasks are completed with a sense of urgency following proper guidelines and standardsMaintain product knowledge and respective storage temperatures for each commodity; educate your team to do the sameApply food safety standards and quality control to everything we doActively maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that facility equipment is properly maintainedEnsure all safety procedures are followed and take immediate action to correct any unsafe situationCommunicate effectively with customers and assist in solving problemsCollaborate with sales team to understand customer needs and specific requirements, and customize delivery needs accordinglyMake suggestions for productivity improvements to optimize workflowCollaborate with immediate and cross-functional team members Required Qualifications Proactive planner with the ability to quickly adapt and pivot as necessaryAbility to lead and communicate effectively with a wide range of people who have different communication stylesLeadership, creative problem solving, and effective listening skillsAbility to manage expectations and provide proactive updatesDetail-oriented and able to juggle various moving parts at onceStrong working knowledge of warehouse operationsHigh school diploma or related field experience3 or more years of management experience Environment: This is an open environment warehouse position. Must be able to work in various temperatures. Pay: $66,000 - $73,000 per year.
