Night Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the safety, productivity, and efficiency of warehouse operations. You will supervise employees and monitor operational flow to create a culture of safety and family while providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with warehouse associates daily under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
• Attend effectively and consistently to employees; ensure processes are followed.
• Supervise efficient operations of warehouse and transportation.
• Assist in the hiring process and interviewing of potential employees.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of warehouse employees.
• Collaborate with team leads regarding personnel movement and workload completion.
• Maintain attendance, productivity information, and employee performance logs.
• Monitor supplies and direct replenishment efforts as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and coordinate repairs.
• Plan and organize work and resource flow to complete shifts safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to improve production, quality, and communication.
• Ensure all merchandise and shipping containers are restocked for order selection staff.
• Supervise efficient operations of the warehouse, provide daily detailed reports to warehouse management, and make adjustments during the shift to ensure efficiency in processes.
• Lead safe work practices in adherence with safety policies and requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Physical ability to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
• Physical ability to stand for a significant period of time and walk continuously on occasion through the warehouse.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, or reach may be required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which may expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.

Pay

Base $60K + depending on experience. Bonus opportunity: up to 10% annual.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2pm to 1am.
