About the role
The Night Shipping Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities, including staff supervision, training, food safety, safety compliance, and warehouse maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff to meet productivity and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, company policies, and OSHA standards.
- Champion safety procedures, processes, and training to foster a safety-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Oversee warehouse maintenance, including equipment, facilities, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage product organization and optimize warehouse space.
- Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Operations Managers to improve existing processes.
- Perform additional duties as requested and assist other departments as needed.

- Familiarity with warehouse equipment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; equivalent combination of education and related experience accepted.
- Degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM or until finished.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- May involve lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling heavy loads, and working in awkward body postures.
- Repetitive tasks may be required, including sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Walking primarily on level surfaces throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist, and lifting up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
- Temperature variations: 45–95°F in the dry warehouse, 35–41°F in the cooler, and -5–20°F in the freezer.
