Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care
• Administer medications and treatments
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident’s needs are met
• Lead and contribute valuable ideas and feedback
• Keep up in the environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passion
• Adhere to standards of business conduct and comply with policies
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare and administer medications
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Maintain specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms
• Perform bedside care, change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, prepare equipment, and aid physicians during examinations and treatments
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning
• Manage time effectively and record care information accurately and promptly
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in State
• At least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long-term care setting (preferred)
