(NIGHT SHIFT) DIRECT JUVENILE SUPPORT WORKER

About the role

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Night Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Provides in-person safety and security around-the-clock.
• Mentors and develops skills for each youth.
• Maintains a supportive environment for youth’s needs.
• Makes observations and documents behaviors and activities.
• Assists with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborates with other professionals to support each youth’s treatment plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Passes a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB tests.
• Passes a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Meets the eligibility requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Must be available for 4 days on/3 off or 3 days on/4 off schedules.
• Must be available for a 12-hour shift with a 1-hour break.
• Must be available for a Night Shift from 7pm to 8am.

Pay

$17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7pm – 8am (12-hour shift *1 hour break *)
