About the role

We seek a dedicated employee to work during our graveyard shift. The ideal candidate will work independently while contributing as a team member, maintaining alertness and attentiveness to provide a positive and safe environment for the students in our care.

Schedule

• Part Time: Three shifts per week, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Saturday night shift runs until 8:00 AM. Work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.
• Full Time (Option 1): Saturday - Tuesday, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Saturday night shift runs until 8:00 AM. Work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.
• Full Time (Option 2): Thursday - Sunday, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Friday and Saturday night shifts run until 8:00 AM. Work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during the night, providing a safe and secure caregiving environment.
• Use mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who wake during the night and need support during escalated moments.
• Wake students in the morning and supervise their initial morning tasks.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation requirements are met effectively.

Requirements

• Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive during the night while remaining energetic in the morning to assist students.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor adolescents.
• Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge of mental health.
• Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Engaging and empathetic character with a balance of tenacity and determination.
• Strong problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal-relationship skills.
