About The Role Recess Hotel & Club is seeking a Part-Time Night Auditor to serve as the overnight face of the hotel, providing exceptional guest service while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial and operational reporting. This role combines the responsibilities of an overnight Front Desk Agent with the detail and accountability of the nightly audit process. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, and confident working independently, with the ability to manage guest needs, resolve issues, and accurately balance a complex full-service hotel operation. What You'll Do Serve as the primary Front Desk presence during overnight hours, providing cheerful, polished service to guestsComplete guest check-ins and check-outs, assist with reservations, and respond to guest requests and concernsComplete nightly audit procedures and verify the accuracy of financial transactions, payments, and daily revenueBalance and reconcile revenue across hotel operations and prepare required overnight reportsReview guest folios, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing or posting issuesMaintain awareness of hotel occupancy, arrivals, departures, special requests, and overnight activityRespond calmly and professionally to guest concerns, operational issues, and emergency situationsCommunicate important overnight activity and follow-up needs to hotel leadership and incoming teamsMaintain a safe, welcoming, and organized Front Desk and lobby environmentHelp ensure the hotel is fully prepared for a successful start to the next day Qualifications Previous Night Audit, Front Desk, or Guest Services experience in a full-service hotel or resort strongly preferredExperience in a hotel with multiple revenue streams such as rooms, food and beverage, spa, club, retail, or other amenities preferredExperience with hotel property management systems, guest folios, payment processing, and end-of-day proceduresStrong numerical accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepanciesPolished, professional communication skills and a genuine commitment to exceptional guest serviceComfortable working independently and making sound decisions during overnight hoursDependable and able to consistently work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays based on business needsHigh school diploma or equivalent required Why Recess?
