Night Auditor, Full-Time | Residence Inn, Denver Park

About the role

The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and closing previous business day and completing daily financial reports. They manage person-in-charge duties during the overnight shift, ensuring security protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
• Provides the highest level of service.
• Processes check-ins and check-outs, verifies billing, creates reservations, and processes special requests.
• Affords assistance to guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
• Works independently or in a team to meet guests' needs, and contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary.
• Understands and follows CSM guest service recovery program.
• Accurately balances all revenue sources and completes daily financial reports.
• Processes no-show reservations, prepares financial reports for managerial review, and closes the financial day for the hotel.
• Follows proper selling techniques and ensures strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues.
• Maintains room availability, follows restrictions, and adheres to booking policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and maximizes revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities.
• Handles cash and processes financial transactions according to CSM procedures.
• Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties.
• Works on assigned additional projects, stocks supplies, and assists other overnight staff as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

$19.00 USD - $21.00 USD per hour
