About the role

A Master's prepared registered nurse with in-depth knowledge of nursing theory and education who plans, designs, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs for the attainment of departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures ongoing record keeping and submission of contact hour program materials, evaluations, attendees, contact hour awarded, and any other required information to maintain provider unit status with PA State Nurses Association.
• Participates in activities to maintain Magnet Program Recognition accreditation with special attention to areas involving nursing education activities.
• Participates on committees as assigned and shares information with peers and managers.
• Maintains required certification related to area of responsibility/expertise.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Qualifications

• Required Master’s Degree in Healthcare Related field
• Required BLS - Basic Life Support
• Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association
• Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association

$90,673.76 to $129,210.11 Annual
