Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care for neonatal patients.
- Educate patients and families and offer emotional support.
- Use nursing judgment to perform assessments, implement treatments, and demonstrate technical skills for conditions such as respiratory distress, prematurity, and sepsis.
- Promote excellent customer service and utilize the nursing process to meet patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing licensure.
- BLS certification.
- NRP and STABLE certifications within specified timeframes.
- At least 1 year of RN experience; NICU experience preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of human development, assessment, and treatment.
- Technical proficiency in neonatal care procedures.
- Patient-centered care and ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.
