Responsibilities

• Own, build, and run complex systems under real load in a production environment, ensuring absolute stability and reliability.
• Move seamlessly across hardware, software, and application layers without requiring clean handoffs at boundaries to build out a vertically integrated stack.
• Define and implement how high-performance compute and clinical ensemble AI run locally inside physician offices with sub-second local compute latency.
• Evaluate architectural challenges and make critical technical decisions independently without a predefined playbook.
• Partner closely with designers and cross-functional teams to translate high-fidelity designs into performant, production-quality user interfaces or backend data pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical/domain experience.
• Proven track record of operating at a senior level, with clear evidence of rapid promotion and building production-grade systems from scratch.
• Deep, specialized technical expertise in at least one of the following core areas:
  • Distributed Systems: Kubernetes, large-scale orchestration, reliability engineering at load, secure data pipelines, and API design.
  • Systems & Edge Orchestration: Containerization, firmware/software deployment pipelines in non-datacenter environments.
  • GPU Acceleration: CUDA kernels, NVIDIA stack, performance optimization in constrained hardware environments.
  • Knowledge Systems: RAG pipelines, vector databases, and production LLM integration.
  • Front End / UI: Responsive web and native mobile platform development, fluid animations, and visual precision.
  • Graphics: Real-time rendering, 3D graphics, and spatial or clinical data visualization.
• A strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take on high-stakes architectural ownership from Day 1.

Preferred Qualifications

• A history of building things outside of a standard job description, such as an open-source project people actually use, technical competitions, or self-directed engineering projects.
• Experience navigating technical collaboration across global or dual-hemisphere engineering teams.
