Required Certifications
Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the following prior to assuming the position:
- NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" course
- NFHS "First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches" course
- Concussion Certificate (copy on file every year, maintained by School Level AD)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate (copy on file every year, maintained by School Level AD)

Coaches who successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, are exempt from the NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" and "First Aid, Health, & Safety" requirements.
