About the Role
Girls wrestling assistant coach position.
Responsibilities
- Complete required NFHS courses prior to assuming the position:
- “Fundamentals of Coaching”
- “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
- Coaches who completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course before May 15, 2013, are exempt from NFHS courses.
- Maintain current certifications on file with the school’s Athletic Director (AD):
- Concussion Certificate (annual)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate (annual)
- “Fundamentals of Coaching” (when applicable)
- “First Aid, Health, & Safety” (when applicable)
- “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” (annual, when applicable)
- NFHS COVID-19 Course (all coaches)
